Welcome to the Neighborhood

“We decided to relocate from Southern California to Payson for retirement. We saw a property we liked on Zillow and Kristin was the listing agent. We went to see the property but did not make an offer as we were not exactly what we wanted. We liked Kristin, she told us she would find us the property that was right for us. We traveled to Payson numerous times over the next 2 years and eventually found the retirement home that had everything we wanted. We are grateful to Kristin for sticking with us throughout the 2 year process. She always made herself available and provided honest information. Buying property long distance is not easy, and we appreciated that Kristin gave us an honest assessment of each property that became available so that we did not make unnecessary trips to see property that was not right for us. I retire next month and in January 2019 we will be moving to our beautiful new home in Payson. I highly recommend Kristin, she was a joy to work with and my first new friend in Payson.”

Beginning Dec. 1, Arizona motorists expecting vehicle registration renewals will see a new Public Safety Fee. The fee was established by state law to support public safety and Highway Patrol operations.
The fee goes into effect for registrations due in January which can be paid as early as Dec. 1, and immediately for newly registered vehicles.

Biggest snowstorm in Arizona History

On December 14th 1967, three storm systems converged on northern Arizona and covered Payson with 67 inches of cold wet snow.

The blizzard caused an outage that would take 10 days for the Arizona Public Service crews to restore power to Payson. Crews sent by APS to repair the lines had to work in waist-deep ice-cold water near Tonto Natural Bridge.

Supplies were flown into the parking lot of the Gila Co. Sheriff’s building at Main and Beeline by rescue helicopter before power was eventually restored and roads cleared.
