I am filled with gratitude this glorious November! I want to highlight this community that cares for each other so deeply! One of the ways is by coming to each other’s side in moments of crisis. Case in point: a family in our own community in Star Valley recently suffered the complete loss of their home in a fire and individuals and businesses have banded together to organize a benefit, GoFundMe and other collection avenues have been set up to get this family back on their feet. This is not the first nor last time such quick mobilization of the caring hearts of Payson have come together for a common goal. One reason I chose to make this my home is because it is the definition of a community that cares. Being able to give and sow into the lives of people around you is so much more rewarding than receiving, don’t you think? So let’s make it a month to be thankful for the gift of giving! WE are so blessed as a community to be able to take care of each other, and I am grateful to be able to see that taking place all around me every day!
