Did you know we have the World’s Oldest Continuous Rodeo right here in our little town!? In that time you would think we have done it all in the Rodeo game… but we are hosting something new! For the first time ever, the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association’s Grand Canyon Region will be hosted at Payson’s Multi Event Center. On March 27-28th, it will be a party at the event center with all kinds of fun for all ages!
“Enjoy bareback riding, barrel racing, breakaway roping, bull riding, goat tying, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, and tie down roping. Events begin at 7pm on 3/27, and 1pm on 3/28. Slack (free admission) will take place on each day at 8am.” – Sourced from Town Website
One of my favorite things about living in Payson is that there are always amazing events happening. COVID cause most of the events to be cancelled last year, but our awesome Town staff is being creative in helping put on some great, safe events for 2021.
