Here in Payson, Arizona, 4th of July means big fun! All of the activities for the day center around our beautiful Green Valley Park, where the day starts early with a patriotic ceremony at 8AM. Throughout the rest of the day, there will be vendors selling snow cones and ice cream to keep you cool, and activities for all ages including a pie eating contest! Just make sure to save a good place near the lake before the fireworks show begins at 9!
And of course, let’s not forget the real reason for celebrating the 4th of July — when our country’s founders gathered together to form the Declaration of Independence. Let’s also not forget all of the brave men and women who have fought for our country’s freedom, past and present. We thank you!!!
